The story.
I played collegiate basketball at the D3 level. The discipline, the film review, the ability to stay level-headed after a bad quarter — I thought that would translate directly to trading. It did, eventually. But not before I learned the hard way that knowing the right move and actually making it under pressure are two completely different skills.
I’ve passed evaluations. I’ve also blown through more than one in a single sitting, chasing the feeling of getting back in. I don’t say that as a confession — I say it because almost nobody in this space admits it, and I think that silence is the actual problem.
Trade Like a Girl exists for traders who want the real version of this journey — the plateaus, the rule breaks, the process of rebuilding trust in yourself after a bad stretch — not just the wins. This isn’t only for women. It’s for anyone who’s tired of the highlight reel.
